"Alice in Wonderland" Silhouettes 2009

“I’m really nervous and excited,” Lauren Stark, a junior in the apparel design & development program, said about the annual Spring Silhouettes Fashion Show. On April 21, the Great Hall hosted the event filled with 80 designers and 100 models.

How well do you know your instructors?

When class is in session, the professors are supposed to be there; that’s their job. But what do professors do in their free time? They do have lives outside of the classroom, which is sometimes hard to believe. The final Open Mic Night of the school year took place on April 23.

Fashion feathers take flight in runway show and on campus

University of Wisconsin-Stout has been subject to an increasing trend of feather headbands crowning the crowds on campus. A retail merchandising and management student on campus made this trend possible when she noticed an unsatisfied demand: the demand to take an everyday outfit and transform it into an alluring ensemble, without anyone having to break the bank.

The line-up of musicians includes Futureman (of bluegrass legends Bela Fleck & the Flecktones), Trevor Garrond (of Tea Leaf Green), Dan Lebowitz (of ALO), Matt Butler (of Hot Buttered Rum), plus member of Fat Maw Rooney and Chinese Fingertap.

Middle-aged man Mike O’Donnell (Matthew Perry), who is about to be divorced and whose kids have grown away from him, is unhappy with how his life turned out. The opening scene shows the day when everything changed: he had to decide between a basketball scholarship and marrying his girlfriend.

More than love, more than lust, it was an obsession

A successful businessman or lawyer or something (Idris Elba) is assigned a hot new temp (Ali Larter) to replace his non-threatening gay guy, and his wife (Beyonce Knowles) immediately becomes jealous and wants her fired. He assures her he didn’t have a choice in her hiring and will get rid of her as soon as possible.
